1828 Hungary Tax Census Example
The 1828 Tax Census is organized by village and written in Latin. The record for each village is separated into three components: a) Title Sheet, b) Enumeration sheet and c) Observation sheet.
The title sheet describes the village and the key village individuals. The Enumeration sheet reserves a line for each household. Each household is described by the name of it's head of household. Various
The examples shown below are for the village of Nova Sedlica, in present-day east Slovakia. At the time, this village was in the county of Zemplen, Kingdom of Hungary.

Uses old Magyar village names.
